An update …

As the conditions around us cautiously ease and rain appears imminent, we’d like to pause to provide an update from our patch of earth.
While the National Parks and State Forests of our cherished High Country remain closed, we are hoping to return to normal opening hours in the cellar door and restaurant, very soon.
We continue to work closely with our fellow wine, food, farming and accommodation businesses, who truly are the heart and fabric of King Valley, to start welcoming visitors back to the region soon, or to buy direct today.
Buying a case of wine now or planning a future day trip or overnight stay is just the start of the invaluable momentum we need to help restore a spirited and sustainable future.
We also have something to raise a glass and smile to, being the arrival of a trilogy of new release wines in our Cellar Door and online store: Chrismont Chardonnay 2017, La Zona Nebbiolo 2018 and La Zona Marzemino Frizzante 2019, which we look forward to sharing with you when you next visit us at Chrismont.
The bushfires of January 2020 have had a devastating effect on the country, and we are extremely thankful for the incredible efforts of volunteers, agencies, community members and animal carers who continue to keep our homes, businesses and wildlife safe. We are beyond thankful that no life or property has been lost in the King Valley during this time.
Please remain vigilant and aware that fire activity is still expected for some time.
