Our doors are open for you to forget today’s world for just a short while

Posted: 20 March, 2020

Dear Customers, Followers and Friends.

We hope you’re safe and well amid the uncertainty of today’s world.

Here in the pristine King Valley, our Cellar Door, Restaurant and Larder will continue to stay open to serve you our delicious food and wines as we closely monitor and adapt to the current situation at hand.

The safety of all visitors and staff is our upmost priority, as is following the guidelines established by the Australian Government – Department of Health.

Here at Chrismont, we have implemented considerable hygiene protocols to ensure your wellbeing, health and peace of mind, which includes restricting gathering-sizes and enabling social distancing.

As our beautiful building is an expansive space, we are able to offer all visitors the opportunity to confidently dine and taste with ample space, and in comfort.

In the Restaurant, bookings will be minimised and space significantly increased between tables, ensuring a safe distance between diners. We will also provide single use menus per person, and all tables, chairs etc will be thoroughly sanitised between sittings.

Dining in the fresh, open air of our balcony is subject to weather and is an area we encourage you to phone and book ahead to avoid any disappointment (03 57 29 8220).

Our cellar door tasting bench offers an extensive space to taste or purchase our wines with assurance and ease. Here single use tasting lists will be provided per person, and our bench will be meticulously sanitised between tasting groups of 1+.

If you’d prefer to restock from afar, our cellar door and online store is happy to deliver all orders of one dozen bottles or more free of charge within Australia, until COB on Easter Monday, 2020 (more details can be found in our online store).

And most importantly, if you feel any symptoms of illness, even if only mild, or have recently travelled overseas, please visit us at a later date. Our team is team aware of the importance of monitoring their own health, and staying away if they show any signs of illness.

Thank you to all who have reached out or continued to come and dine or taste with us these past couple of weeks.

We hope we continue to see you during this time, and are happy to answer any questions for your peace of mind and safety concerns before planning a visit to Chrismont. We will also continue to monitor the situation, and will keep you updated with any changes.
