WINE CLUB TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Welcome to the Chrismont Wine Club.

To join the Chrismont Wine Club you must be 18 years of age or over, be a resident of and residing in Australia, and agree to the terms and conditions as set out below.

There is no membership fee payable for joining the Chrismont Wine Club.  Applications for Membership can be made by completing the Wine Club Membership form in our cellar door or by completing the online sign up form through our website.  Chrismont reserves the right to grant or refuse membership of the Chrismont Wine Club to any applicant.

By joining and providing your details to the Chrismont Wine Club, you authorise Chrismont Wines PTY LTD (ABN 61 004 512 074) to debit the provided credit card with the total cost of the wine deliveries as they occur annually in your chosen delivery months. Deliveries will be processed automatically, with a minimum 7-days notice, by email prior to being debited.

Joining the Chrismont Wine Club entitles you to receive your membership level discount on wine purchases in the Chrismont, La Zona and Riserva ranges*, both online and at the cellar door.  Membership also entitles you to receive special and exclusive wine offers throughout the year on Chrismont, La Zona and Riserva wines.

Members of the Chrismont Wine Club also receive:

Minimum 10% discount* on all wine purchases at cellar door and online

Your wine club discount cannot be used with any other offers. Shipments are for Members personal consumption only and must not be used for retail sale.

 

TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

Chrismont Wine Club memberships are ongoing, however, Members may terminate their Membership at any time after 12 months or a minimum of two dozen wines purchased from the Chrismont, La Zona, and Riserva range, by notifying Chrismont by phone, email - wineclub@chrismont.com.au or by visiting the cellar door in person.

If the member wishes to cancel their membership, the request must be received prior to the processing and despatch date of their notified upcoming delivery. Members are liable to pay for only those wine packs that have been dispatched prior to membership change/cancellation notification.

 

CHANGE OF DETAILS

The member understands that it is their responsibility to inform Chrismont of any change in address and delivery details.  Charges incurred with recovery of wines to an old or incorrect address will be the responsibility of the Member.

 

DELIVERY

Chrismont uses Aramex/Fastway Couriers, Australia Post and local Victorian couriers to deliver physical goods.  Delivery may take between 2 and 14 days, depending on the location and delivery method. 

Wine club orders requiring delivery must be in multiples of 12 bottles. (excludes promotion and special offers where stated)

We can deliver within Australia only.  Deliveries cannot be made on weekends or public holidays.  If you are unsure whether we can deliver to the area you live in, please contact us.  Please provide instructions for delivery if you are not at home.

Please note that all Australia Post deliveries to rural areas will be left at the local Post Office. Occasionally our couriers may leave your purchases at the local Post Office or local distribution depot as they have been unable to deliver to your specified delivery address.  In this instance a calling card will be left for you, advising the location of your purchases for collection.  If the item(s) have not been collected within 7 days of leaving a calling card, Chrismont will be contacted to clarify further action.

The goods will not be delivered to persons under the age of eighteen (18) years.  We may request that the person who receives the goods provide satisfactory evidence of proof of age.  We will refuse to deliver the goods if a person receiving the goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age.

Anyone at the nominated delivery address who receives the goods is presumed to be authorised to receive the goods.

If we are advised that the carrier is unable to deliver the goods, or if the delivery address has not been updated prior to your wine selection despatch, we will then attempt to contact you to arrange re-delivery. Return & Re-delivery fees apply.

 

PRICE & CREDIT CARD CHARGES

All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AU$) and include GST.  Our prices are subject to change – the price payable for the goods is the price applicable on the date when we confirm your order.

Orders are by credit card only. We accept Visa or MasterCard.

As a wine club member, you understand your wine club selections will be processed and shipped automatically in your nominated delivery seasons. Notification of your upcoming wine delivery will be made by email with a minimum 7 days’ notice prior to processing payment.

 

WINE IS A DELICATE COMMODITY

Wine is a perishable commodity.  Wine does not like extremes of temperature: hot humid summer and cold winter weather may adversely affect the condition of your wine during shipment.  Chrismont is not responsible for, and will not replace wine that is damaged by extreme weather conditions during shipment.  When your wine order is picked up by the common carrier for delivery, responsibility for the wine becomes the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

LIQUOR ACT

Under Australian law, you must be 18 years or older, to order or receive alcoholic beverages from Chrismont Wines PTY LTD.  It is an offence to sell, supply or obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18.

Victorian Liquor Licence number 31950240 Chrismont encourages a responsible attitude to the consumption of alcohol.

 

OTHER

Chrismont reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to vary the terms and conditions of the Chrismont Wine Club.  Should Chrismont vary the terms and conditions, we will notify the Member via the email address provided on the Member’s application form.  Your continued participation in the Chrismont Wine Club after such notification will constitute your deemed acceptance of such variations. 

Chrismont Wine Club reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of Members and any other information relevant to Membership or participation in the Chrismont Wine Club.  Verification is at the discretion of the Chrismont Wine Club, whose decision is final.
