CHRISMONT RESTAURANT AND LARDER - FRONT OF HOUSE POSITION 
Casual hours with opportunity to be full time

Chrismont’s award-winning Restaurant and Larder is a popular destination for food and wine lovers seeking a quality dining experience when visiting the King Valley in Victoria’s High Country.

A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join the front of house team where you’ll deliver a high-end customer experience as you expand on your own hospitality skills in one of Victoria’s most popular winery dining and tourism destinations.

Offering an immediate start, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Providing polished customer service and ensuring each guest feels welcome

• Maintaining a high level of presentation of the restaurant area

• Enhancing the Chrismont dining experience with your natural and attentive style of service

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Excellent communication skills and a bubbly personality

• Be well presented

• An enjoyment of food and wine

• Be customer orientated - always going above and beyond

• Be self-motivated with a strong initiative and work ethic

• An eye for housekeeping and presentation standards of our venue at all times

Integrate with our dedicated team of professionals, including effective communication with management and kitchen staff

• Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA), or be willing to obtain one

• Drivers licence and reliable transport

This is a casual role designed for daytime and weekend work, including long weekends and some public holidays. Extra work hours required during school and festive holiday periods and during our busy spring and summer months.

The opportunity to expand the role to fulltime exists for the right, reliable person who displays a commitment and desire to be a permanent member of Chrismont, where career opportunities do exist beyond the restaurant floor.
