Opportunities exist to join the team at Chrismont's award-winning Cellar Door and Restaurant in the beautiful King Valley.
We are now seeking applications for the positions of:
CELLAR DOOR HOST : Suitable for applicants with an interest in wine and a desire to host visitors seeking an enjoyable tourism experience. This is a casual role that requires weekend work and a current RSA.
RESTAURANT FRONT OF HOUSE : Suitable for applicants with hospitality experience and the ability to deliver polished and welcoming customer service to all dining guests. This is a casual role that requires weekend work and a current RSA.
SOUS CHEF : This is a full-time position, suitable for an experienced sous chef with a background working in a high-paced, à la carte dining environment. You will possess skills necessary to assist in the preparation and cooking of Italian food from fresh ingredients with an attention to detail and finesse for taste.
Successful applicants will also possess the following:
Excellent communication skills and a bubbly personality
An eye for housekeeping and presentation standards of our venue
Be customer orientated - always going above and beyond
Be self-motivated with good initiative and sound work ethic
Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
High standard of personal presentation
Your availability for weekend work is a must. You will also be required to work during the busy tourism months and regional festivals, hold a driver’s license and have your own transport
Successful candidates must be reliable and have a desire to work for a hands-on, family-run business and as part of a close-knit team. Remuneration is conducive to industry standards.
